Devin Chu is a postdoctoral researcher with the University of California at Los Angeles Galactic Center Group, working under the supervision of Nobel laureate Andrea Ghez. Devin will also discuss his interest in looking for binary star systems around the supermassive black hole of the Milky Way galaxy. Finally, Devin will describe how W. M. Keck Observatory will play a leading role in answering the biggest questions about the physics and environment around our galaxy’s supermassive black hole.
